The Backyard is a family and dog-friendly outdoor wine & beer garden with onsite restaurant located on the corner of 13th & Railroad Streets in beautiful downtown Paso Robles.

We offer 28 rotating taps showcasing local craft beer, cider and wine as well as a wide selection of beer, wine, champagne, cider, kombucha, seltzer, and various non-alcoholic and kid-friendly beverage options available in bottles and cans (which can also be purchased “to go”).
OUTDOOR DINING
A full lunch and dinner menu with kid-friendly options is available daily at the onsite restaurant now led by Executive Chef Michael Learned and operated by The Backyard.
Customers can order food and drinks at the bar and enjoy our spacious outdoor beer garden that offers traditional German biergarten tables, a variety of seating areas, plenty of shade, misters, heaters, and music.

There is an onsite parking lot with 5 spaces, including 1 handicapped spot. However, parking lot access is not guaranteed.
Ample street parking is available, and we are within walking distance of several downtown hotels.
Please do not park in any of the neighboring businesses’ parking lots.
